IPCRI is doing its utmost to obtain the necessary permits for participants originating in the Palestinian Authority areas and whose participation is paid by IPCRI to depart via Ben Gurion airport. However, under current circumstances, participants from the West Bank and Gaza might have to travel via Amman or Cairo, respectively. IPCRI will do it utmost to expedite the border crossing, and will arrange for stipend recipients paid transportation from the Allanby and Rafah border crossings to Amman and Cairo, as well as for accommodation there, respectively.

Palestinian participants’ recipients of IPCRI stipend are kindly requested to send the following information immediately to Hayat El-Alami at IPCRI (see email address below):

  • Name
  • Full address
  • ID Number
  • Passport type and number
  • Date of issue/ date expires

Also, we strongly advise holders of Palestinian passports originating in the West Bank to please obtain a travel permit for Amman through your personal contacts in Jordan. The permit, valid for one month, is issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Interior at a cost of JD 5-8, to be reimbursed by IPCRI to stipend recipients.
