IPCRI Founder and Co-CEO Dr. Gershon Baskin is coming to the US

on a cross-country speaking and fundraising tour

Call to help set up speaking engagements and meetings

On May 2, Gershon Baskin will begin his US speaking tour in Los Angeles.  There is no program set yet and this is a call to friends of IPCRI all over to assist in setting up a program.  Gershon is prepared to travel anywhere in the States that will be worthwhile financially.  This is a tour to raise money for supporting the work of IPCRI in advancing the “two-states for two peoples” solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.   Speaking engagements will be accepted that include a speaker’s fee and travel expenses plus the ability to do a fundraising pitch to the audience. Preferences will be given to large audiences. 

Gershon is a veteran Israeli peacemaker.  He founded IPCRI more than 20 years ago. Previously he founded and directed the Institute for Education for Jewish-Arab Coexistence which was affiliated with the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Education.  He was the first Intern for Peace (1979) where he lived in the Palestinian-Israeli village of Kafr Qara for 2 years. He served for 20 years (reserves) in the IDF College for the Education of Officers where he lectured on Israeli and Palestinian society and politics.  Gershon is an expert on almost all aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace process.  He is also a columnist in the Jerusalem Post.  All of his columns can be read on the IPCRI web page (www.ipcri.org)
